Steff, He is just taking the other side to rile me up. The guy sleeps all day and wakes occassionally to check the board and post the opposite of what I say even though he is tired of the same old bulls*** threads. He is being "accomodating" Jim symphathetic to the "entitlement" youth movement of today so one day he can be a mod on the board.

I don't care what he does all day.. :rolly

But I do care that I was pretty much accused of calling people out in spite. I think I have expressed my stance on this issue clearly and if someone thinks I have done what Jim claims, I apologize. That was not my intent.

Ofer a long one and a quickman winner!

Still an O-fer, still not making sense.

Try the Skylark. A PBR on draft will help your demeanor. Also try an Anchor Liberty Ale, it's out of your comfort zone I know, but it will do you good.

Otherwise, you will continue to have chicks using your tickets and you will be grumpy about that too.

List went out this morning on the tickets, we'll see what happens.

Goal by end of summer is to have at least one local establishment with cheap beer on tap ... NOT bottles, I can have that at home. Draft beer = better. Repeat after me.

Trust me, you are overreacting. I was presenting another side and you and Terry were the two season ticketholders who came to mind. I didn't offend him and certainly didn't mean to offend you, I think you know me better than that.

I am a season ticketholder for Bears and had Hawks and will probably jump back into Sox next year, I have the same frustrations about people b****ing about attendance but his real motive is because he is tired of people b****ing, and my intent was to alert him to the fact that what he's doing is b****ing as well.

I think I do.. which is why I commented the way I did.

Thanks for clarifying.

Sure, no problem, happy to clarify. Did not mean to hit you the wrong way.

Quick on the other hand ... it's too easy, he gets annoyed at everything.

I can see him winning the lottery ... "goddamned taxes, this is unbelieveable, what's with these taxes, there is no way these sonofab****es should get all this money, you know what I'm sayin', they're nuts, I'm tellin' ya, this lottery stuff is complete bulls***."

Actually he is angry because he screwed up on Konerko getting traded (2 pitchers of beer for me), he screwed up on Gload being over 30 (I knew he was under 30, lunch at Bertucci's for me), and he screwed up on the Sox losing 2 of 3 to Seattle (they won 2 of 3, beers at the Skylark for me).

I guess I would be crabby too if I kept losing wagers and kept thinking I was always right. :D

Losing beer wagers is something I don't worry about. The tax issue is another thing.

Far be it for me to interrupt the sparring but I don't think this thread ever took on the form of whinning about attendance. I think it was more geared toward what it looks like on TV when those seats behind home plate our empty.

I might be wrong but the avg attendance might be up this year.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance

19 Minnesota H:7G 26,860, R:8G 24,826, Over: 25,775

24 Detroit H:7G 22,958, R:8G, Over: 20,533

26 Chicago Sox H:8G 21,349 R:7G 29,230, Over: 25,027

27 Cleveland H:6G 20,403 R:9G 22,231, Over: 21,500

29 Kansas City H:8G 19,135 R:7G 30,678 Over: 24,522

It's not pretty. We should be beating Detroit.

You know what sucks, I was watching the CELL last night and every Scout seat was empty for that Tigers game.

Ridiculous!
