April 27, 200520 yr I don't remember anyone posting this. White Sox Transactions 4/23/05 Signed INF Greg Norton to a Minor League contract and assigned him to Triple-A Charlotte. I knew he was sent down by the Rockies but don't remember him getting released or refusing to report. Good move. No allstar but Major League depth in case something bad should happen.
