April 24, 200521 yr Sproles goes off the board to SD. I wouldn't mind if the Bears traded up to the end of the 4th round, before we get to the compensatory picks...
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) KEEP FALLING SHAZOR fall all the way to 140 you can start this year at OLB That's exactly who I'm thinking about -- but I don't think he lasts. This is all a big tease. Canty goes. Where will Hawthorne's slide end?
April 24, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:44 AM) KEEP FALLING SHAZOR fall all the way to 140 you can start this year at OLB I'm with you. If Angelo finds a way to net Shazor, I'll turn around on this draft class in a hurry. Talk about a value pick.
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) KEEP FALLING SHAZOR fall all the way to 140 you can start this year at OLB What about THIS guy: http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft0...yer%3Fid%3D8240
April 24, 200521 yr Hey greasy if you are reading this, what do you think of Trai Essex? I saw he was from your area and thought I would ask, he's from NW so Danman or others could probably help me out also.
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 08:44 AM) KEEP FALLING SHAZOR fall all the way to 140 you can start this year at OLB I know Lovie had indicated that they would look at OLB in the draft so maybe they'll think of moving up but thats probably doubtful.
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 11:48 AM) Keith, has McCoy been selected yet? 63 to Phily
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 12:48 PM) Keith, has McCoy been selected yet? McCoy= HE GAWN 2nd round - Eagles
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 08:48 AM) Keith, has McCoy been selected yet? If your talking Matt McCoy of SDSU, he went yesterday.
April 24, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:49 AM) McCoy= HE GAWN 2nd round - Eagles Figured as much. Let's hope Angelo finds a way to draft Ernest.
April 24, 200521 yr So, Marcus Jones - Louisville - would be a bad OLB? He is a pass rusher that is faster than Shazor.
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 11:49 AM) Hey greasy if you are reading this, what do you think of Trai Essex? I saw he was from your area and thought I would ask, he's from NW so Danman or others could probably help me out also. Yep. He went to FW Harding. I know he was a tight end in high school, and when he went to Northwestern. He ended his playing career at NW at left tackle. From what I've been reading, you guys may look at him at a couple positions. He's a big guy (6'4, 324 pounds), but he can really move on the field. He'll be good for Pittsburgh. He should continue the history of Fort Wayne to Pittsburgh players well. Rod Woodson was the last guy from the Fort to play for the Steelers.

April 24, 200521 yr BTW, I'm with all of you heavily on taking Shazor if he's there. That would be a steal IMO.
April 24, 200521 yr Dear KC and Clev, Please pass on Shazor. Dear Jerry Angelo, Please pick Shazor or I will kill you.

April 24, 200521 yr James Grigsby ILB - Illinois State goes to KC. Edited April 24, 200521 yr by knightni
April 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) I'd have to think Cleveland looks long and hard at Shazor. He's kind of small for 3-4 lb, and I wonder if Browner may become a better safety. At least, that's what I'm pinning my hopes on...
