Well cub fans aren't the smartest group. They get drunk, see a team dressed in blue  (Royals) and assume it's the cubs. By the time they realize their mistake (if they do at all) their already too drunk to leave.

Case in point: I watched an Airline Show last night. Guy at Chicago Airport wearing a Cubs Uniform missed his flight because he left the cue to go get McDonalds. He claims he never heard the final boarding call. :banghead

We got to get into the park a little after 5 yesterday and got to see Frank hitting... He was placing the ball all over the field with solid hits.. hitting several just short of the wall. Ran a bit as well. Looked good. Claims he feels no pain just a bit of stiffness.

Positive news IMO.

That is definitely some good news. I remember reading that report about a week ago in the Southtown where it looked like he wouldn't make it back by the All Star Break. I don't think that's going to happen now thankfully.

Great post, thanks for the info. I've been watching the media for somebody to report how he looks but just get the 'party line'. You've seen him when he looks great and also when he looks bad over the years so I'm very encouraged you're positive. This team really needs Frank in the mix.

With the Sox win, Twins loss, and Cubs loss, this still might be the best news all night.

I was there tonight, left in the 6th. We were in the UD, couldnt take it anymore. I NEVER, EVER leave games early, but we had to get the f*** out. Sort of nice getting home by 9:30.

We had to go up to the club... our lips were purple!!

I was wrapped as well.. the wind was just too much. And we were downstairs! I can't imagine what those in the UD were dealing with.

I wasn't at the game LOL so I ain't getting involved in the attendance b****fest, I was 800 miles away being cold while working at another baseball game (Durham @ Norfolk). But they have a MLB scoreboard in right field at Harbor Park here, (in front of a large body of water) and when I saw the White Sox take the lead in the 8th I nearly dumped beer on my score sheets I was so happy.

I'm sure this is in other threads, or maybe in this one and I just didn't read everything close enough, but that gives the White Sox the ALL-TIME major league record for having a lead in the most games to begin a season at 26. THAT IS f***ING SWEET f***AHS! That's ALL-TIME, as in, it's NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BIATCHES!

:cheers :gosox3: :cheers :drink :headbang :headbang :headbang :gosox3:

Imagine your experience downstairs with just a bit more biting cold wind! :bringit

Wow, it was cold up there last nite ... I'm still thawing out.

I went with an old college buddy, I mean it was about as cold of a ballgame as I can recall. Wow. Or at least in 540 it was cold. At least it was warm in Ricobene's before the game though. :D

That is great news. With the way the offense is performing we need him back as soon as possible.

I took Destiny up to Fundamentals.. she - who was wearing thermal underwear, tights, 2 pairs of socks, an undershirt, a long sleve shirt, a Sox sweatshirt, her winter jacket, and her pink Sox jersey over it.. and her Sox thermal hat under her hood, which was up.. - was the only one of us that was warm in the seats but when we went up there she said she was cold.

Great game though. :headbang

mmmm Breaded Steak with Motz...

Watching an inning or 2 on the MLB.TV broadcast, in one of the inning breaks, I saw a very nice looking young Sox lady who was sitting by herself with a beanie, coat, probably a few layers underneath, and blowing cold air again and again and again. That enough told me how cold it was.

I LUUUUV Ricobene's

Thursday will hopefully be Stan's Drive In on Archer for a combo, or Bertucci's.

Food, glorious food.
