May 5, 200520 yr I need some waiver wire advice. I currently havWoody Williams who has been decent outside of his first start. I like Woody and he does pitch at petco but the upside isn't spectacular. Should I drop him for the returning Kris benson? seems like they are pretty similar but would like your thoughts. I have a loaded rotation and they compete for my 6th starter spot behind Penny-Pedro-Schmidt-halladay-Oswalt (not a lot of big name son offense)
May 5, 200520 yr I have Woody on my bench, personally I would go with Williams due to the fact that the Padres are a better team than the Mets IMO and he will pitch in that huge park.. You are right, aside from his first start Woody has been pretty solid... Benson on the other hand has never been that good

May 5, 200520 yr Woody Williams is on the 15 day DL with a strained right oblique, isn't there anyone else available in free agency better than williams and benson. Like say Erik Bedard or John Thompson?

May 5, 200520 yr hmmmm, millwood? cliff lee? bedard? weng (yankees)? your in a tough position, id say sort them by wins and look at their era, and gamelog, seems to work for me
