Cuddyer on the Sox

Featured Replies

One team that hasn't taken many off days on the field are the Chicago White Sox. They are the hottest team in baseball, and have the best record in baseball. They are playing great baseball and pitching extremely well. With that being said, we are only five games back and are playing some great baseball as well. The mood in the clubhouse is relaxed as ever and we treat the season the same way we treat a game. We are going to play from Day One until Day 162. We never give up, never give in, and we are going to keep battling until the final out of the final game of the season. When that last out is recorded, I think everything will be as it should.

But we will still win the division.... :gosox1:

21-16 ain't shabby either, if it wasn't for our red hot start, they'd be sitting pretty.

The Twins are definitely not rolling over and dying due to fear from our great start.

We need to just go out there and take care of business every day and we'll be fine.

The Twins always put up a fight.

I still feel we need to put a big gap between us and them by the ASB.

We play the Twins, Yanks, Red Sox, and Baltimore all in a short period of time. We need to survive that period if we want to take this thing this year.

the twins are always respectful in their comments.. but, in private I'm sure they HATE the sox...

In reality, the Twins probably have a reason to feel that way, and that is history. They have always been able to bury us the last 3 years. Even when we have started well, or played them well early, they have always managed to get hot. And honestly until we bury the Twins in August, I have a big fear of them in the back of my head, even with a 5 1/2 game lead.

^^^^^^^

I was going to post something v. similar, but you said it way better.

He's still smacking us in the face. I don't care what he says, I hate every player on that god forsaken Twins team.

as much as we hate each other.... I think its a rivalry that the players respect each other... I know there was that little feud with Buehrle last year but overall its a heated rivalry that is mixed in with some respect.

Torii I would agree with. But, Cuddyer doesn't come off as the type of guy who is a prick. Some of them, LeCroy for example, seem like nice guys.

Who is cruddier, Crudde or Cruddyer?

Technically, we do hold a 5 1/2 game lead right now, but only because we've played 3 more games. They're only 4 back in the loss column, and that's how far any team is really back IMO, because that's the ground they have to make up.

The Twins can finish 2nd in the division, and I think they will. Doesn't matter. They'll still be playing in October
