Excellent managing by Ozzie here. No matter what happens, he made the right decision with the pitching this inning.

Hermanson had better be coming in...

Nice moves Ozzie....managed the bullpen well...for a change!

Not sure I understand why Hermy doesnt start this inning, Marte just pitched 2 IP last night Ozzie...

ozzie overmanages the bullpen. if he doesn't learn what the hell he's doin this team will NOT win if they make the playoffs

Wow, risky play by damaso there but if pays off.  1 down.

I think my heart skipped a beat when he made that throw to second. How many times do you see a pitcher throw that ball away late in a game?

Ozzie has always stuck to playing the matchups with this group, and tonight was no different. Why is everyone surprised by the fact he stuck to his gameplan?

eh I don't know if I buy the logic, Marte pitched two innings yesterday. To me, this is just another example of Oz being obssessed w/lefty righty matchups.

maybe this is an accurate appraisal, but with 1 out, runner on first... we cant necessarily say this is the managerial move that would --- cost us the game (if we lose)

That sound you here is me passing out and slamming my head on the ground. Good to see you give credit where credit is due, Fathom.

Lord knows I'm the biggest overanalyzer on this board.....but that was the right decision. Marte usually makes Anderson look stupid at the plate.

also, who's to say the RHP doesnt get launched by Garret Anderson first pitch

i cant believe they still pull out that damn monkey

So much for Steve Finley being a good signing.

Don't get me started on the Angels offseason. I'm sure Jason could tell you more about it, but man -- it really wasn't a god offseason for the Halos...

All the freakin time, I was waiting for it to happen, no doubt. I was scared beyond belief.

Stuff those god damn monkeys, Dustin!!!

0-2!!!

Phew 2 down, almost fainted there.

breathing restored

Scared me for a second there... one more, Dustin.

Wow, he just missed that. Hermanson is hanging his pitches right now. He needs to keep it down.

I gotta say -- I still get a kick outta the rally monkey. Well, when they aren't playing the Sox, at least.

my mom who cannot judge anything off the bat --- if she is still up --- she just choked thinking that was an HR

Never a doubt...
