Until McCarthy can keep AAA hitters in the park......he shouldn't be in the majors.

 

This team is very hot offensively, and it's not like he gave up homers to Neifi Perez and Henry Blanco. Tiexera/Soriano can hit. Just relax a bit. And besides, all of his homers were at Charlotte, not on the road.

 

Take a deep breath -- and relax. Dave Matthews at Tweeter next Thursday, it's all good. We take one in Texas and it's a guaranteed .500 road-trip.

I actually think BMac will be fine tonight. Our offense has just been absolutely terrible though. It seems like the only time we're scoring is when the opposition is handing it to us.

 

I ain't giving this game up, but the offense has to pick it up.

The only place we can logically upgrade is thirdbase.  They aren't going to upgrade over Konerko (I think the only shot of that is if they make a pitch for Todd Helton), Iguchi and Uribe are set, and our OF has been decent other than Dye, and I don't see them giving up on him after just two months, especially since he's a new FA.

 

Crede, though...  well, there's some options out there like Polanco, Lowell, Huff (more expensive).

Yes but once you get nailed the 2nd time around it kinda tells you they figured something out.

Crede is defensivley good 3b. He can hit occasional but hes never gonna be hitter everybody wants him to be.

I'd have no problem upgrading over Dye and Konerko. I don't think we'd do it, but I woulnd't have any objections to it if we found the right player.

Watch us come back and guy comes back going wahoo I knew they can do it.

We're all frustrated with how McCarthy has started tonight, but I don't know how anyone would want to stop watching. Here's one of our biggest pitching prospects in the last decade on the mound. No matter what any of us say, we should all enjoy watching him pitch. This could be his last start in a long time for this team.

Nearly every hispanic player can't lay off of the high fast ball but they are still on a major league roster. Maybe we should send all of them done to work on laying off of them?
