Patton Oswalt

Featured Replies

So I went to see him do an hour last night at this tiny little hole in the wall art gallery, there was only like 15-20 people there, and he f***ing KILLED. He's the only person I've ever seen who had a bit about my home town Burbank, since he also calls the 'Bank his home.

After wards I talked to him for a few minutes and he couldn't have been a nicer or more humble guy. If you ever get a chance to see him perform stand-up, take it. Until then pick up his CD "Feelin' Kinda Patton".

On a side stand-up note, I really have to get me some tickets to see Dave Attell and Dane Cook out here. They are pretty pricey though...

Patton is one funny motherf***er.

Stand-up comedians in their prime right now that I would rather watch than Patton Oswalt:

Dane Cook

Stephen Lynch

Daniel Tosh

Zach Galifianakis

Greg Fitzsimmons

Nick Dipaolo

Greg Behrendt

Mitch Hedberg (before he died)

Dave Chappelle (before he went insane)

There's more but I can't really think right now. Oswalt is top ten. I love the gravy pipe.

i saw his comedy central special and i was very disappointed, he looked good on the commercials

Too much Bush bashing to my liking.

Greg Fitzsimmons is a SERIOUSLY under-rated comic.

I laugh like a f***in' idiot when I see him perform.

He has a perfect blend of anger and clever wit.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen from a stand up comedian is when Fitzsimmons reads the letter he recieved from the High School in Oklahoma. f***ing hillarious.

Chris Rock really needs to give up movies and stick with the stand-up. He looks awful in that new Longest Yard. Actually, Burt Reynolds looks awful, Rock just acts badly.

Heads up, he's about to be on Carson Daly I think

I've seen Rock's standup live and he's great. The excessive cursing and graphic sex jokes get a bit old at times but, overall, he's the best I've ever seen. Dave Attell's self-deprecating wit is quite good as well.
