May 27, 200520 yr So I went to see him do an hour last night at this tiny little hole in the wall art gallery, there was only like 15-20 people there, and he f***ing KILLED. He's the only person I've ever seen who had a bit about my home town Burbank, since he also calls the 'Bank his home. After wards I talked to him for a few minutes and he couldn't have been a nicer or more humble guy. If you ever get a chance to see him perform stand-up, take it. Until then pick up his CD "Feelin' Kinda Patton". On a side stand-up note, I really have to get me some tickets to see Dave Attell and Dane Cook out here. They are pretty pricey though...
May 27, 200520 yr Stand-up comedians in their prime right now that I would rather watch than Patton Oswalt: Dane Cook Stephen Lynch Daniel Tosh Zach Galifianakis Greg Fitzsimmons Nick Dipaolo Greg Behrendt Mitch Hedberg (before he died) Dave Chappelle (before he went insane) There's more but I can't really think right now. Oswalt is top ten. I love the gravy pipe.
May 27, 200520 yr i saw his comedy central special and i was very disappointed, he looked good on the commercials

One of the funniest things I've ever seen from a stand up comedian is when Fitzsimmons reads the letter he recieved from the High School in Oklahoma. f***ing hillarious.
May 28, 200520 yr Chris Rock really needs to give up movies and stick with the stand-up. He looks awful in that new Longest Yard. Actually, Burt Reynolds looks awful, Rock just acts badly.
May 28, 200520 yr QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ May 27, 2005 -> 11:07 PM) Chris Rock really needs to give up movies and stick with the stand-up. I've seen Rock's standup live and he's great. The excessive cursing and graphic sex jokes get a bit old at times but, overall, he's the best I've ever seen. Dave Attell's self-deprecating wit is quite good as well.
