June 16, 200520 yr Folks, just a note for before or after the game, for those driving. You probably heard me mention this place before, but there is a very unique kinda Bucktown-esque hipster bar/old man tavern called The Skylark on the corner of 22nd and Halsted. They stay open late and they have PBR on tap for $2/pint. They also serve food late, and it's pretty good. Something unique, all their sandwiches, bugers, etc. come with tater tots vs. fries. Interesting music in there too, a very eclectic mix. Last time in I heard Van Morrison followed by Charlie Parker followed by Lucinda Williams. Great for conversations too (no tv's). Anyway, FYI. The wife and I are stop there when we're in the neighborhood, she loves that place. Edit: I know a guy who won't go there because they don't have tv's. Guess who. Edited June 16, 200520 yr by JimH
