Maggs take BP...

We'll get our chance to boo his ass soon enough.

Magglio Ordonez took batting practice for the first time since his hernia surgery and the session went so well, Trammell had to tone down his optimism.

"Very nice," Trammell said. "He's a very good hitter who uses the whole field. That's what he was doing out there. He hit for quite a while. But that's why we did it before an off day. No question he'll be sore (today), but it'll be good sore.

"I have to say, the thought of him in our lineup is very appealing. It's still a few weeks away, but I'm looking forward to it."

Maggs robbed the Tigers blind (Well actually that was Scott B.) What do you think Maggs numbers will be when he returns from the DL? I'll go with .275-.280, 40-50 RBI's, Mabey 10-12 Homers. Thoughts?

He's been out of baseball so long I bet his strength has diminished quite a bit. And I'm still a bit curious over these "wierd injuries" he's been having.

Throw in that he's playing in Tiger Stadium (or whatever the hell its called), and I'll bet he struggles a lot more than that.

.250 or lower, maybe 8 hr's.

I think he can still hit .300 but his homerun total will be WAAAY down from knocking them out at the Cell. I would say 10 at the most for the rest of the season.

I love how Detroit is so desperate for anything that may or may not slightly help their crap team. You can almost hear the desperation in that line.

No roids = No numbers.

Sorry Detroit.

I think he will come back and go 0-4 in one game and then sit out for a few because of a mysterious "viral knee problem infection". Then he will try to pinch hit in a game but will go back on the DL with a "sore knee problem esophegus".

:lolhitting

I hope he's back for the 24th series in Arizona so I can boo his ass in person. Then my Dad would probably ask me why the hell I'm doing that? So I educate him on the story of Maggilo and Scott Bora$$. ;)
