Dave Miley: HE GAWN

Featured Replies

That sucks for Jerry Narron, now he has to deal with the Reds.

That's a team that needs to dismantle itself rapidly and try to follow the White Sox model. Take a couple of those bats and use them to add some speed and pitching. If it works in the Cell it can work there.

That is cutting off your nose to spite your face. Somebody should fire the GM who put that s***ty team together. :puke

exactly, the man demoted d'angelo jimenez! what an outrage

A lot of players on that team will be available at the deadline.

Miley was a pretty good manager who became the scapegoat for the incompetent Reds GM O'Brien who opted to pick up losers like Eric Milton, Ben Weber & David Weathers instead of trying to rejuvenate the Reds minor league system that has ranked among the worst farm systems for years now.

I've heard a few "whispers" that Miley was becoming a tyrant and the Reds players were not happy campers. I don't claim this to have any real validity, just something I heard.
