July 14, 200520 yr http://www.charlotteknights.com/pressbox/t...tions/0712.html Look at the transactions for July 8th It says we signed Brad Fullmer and placed him on the DL Not a bad signing as insurance if that is true. Of course if we signed him and put him on the DL and he hadnt been signed at this point in the season I have no clue what kind of condition he's in. ???
July 14, 200520 yr I have no clue...........but dude where the hell did you get that avatar lmao that is some funny s***. I cant stop watching that fat b**** fall her tubby ass down that trap door. CLASSIC!!!!
July 14, 200520 yr That's him... If he's healthy, he's a solid hitter. But where would he play? He's a DH/1B With Gload coming up, that doesn't give him any place to play. But he could be a good insurance option. Again, if he is 100%
July 14, 200520 yr Yes, they did sign him a couple days ago. Haven't written up a story yet (waiting to find out the timeline till he's back). The Knights trainer will be checking him out tomorrow, but he will open up on the DL.
July 14, 200520 yr I've just got an inkling that Gload's gonna be moved in a deadline deal, especially if the Sox Brass decide on re-signing Konerko at the end of the year.

July 14, 200520 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 03:04 PM) I hope you're wrong. I'm ready to see Konerko out of Chicago. Oh so am I. But you need to look at it this way. Brian Anderson is not going to put up Konerko like numbers next season, if he's playing everyday in the outfield, and that's if Dye's moving to first. And there's no real big name first baseman free agents out there besides Konerko, with only the likes of J.T Snow and Erubiel Durazo worth considering. Yes Konerko is slow, strikes out a ton at important moments, and is only hitting around .260, but he gives this Sox team a power element that it sorely needs. And I think they're gonna keep him around.

July 14, 200520 yr QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:14 AM) Fullmer will be a sept call up Based on what?
July 14, 200520 yr QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:24 AM) His Experience His knee is uber f***ed. I doubt he plays this year.
July 14, 200520 yr Ummm....Mike Caruso has "experience" too. That doesn't mean he needs to be our backup SS.
July 14, 200520 yr Fullmer is a way better player than Caruso ever was... When Fullmer when healthy he was a solid ballplayer Edited July 14, 200520 yr by Cubs Suck23

July 14, 200520 yr We don't even know if the guy will take the field this year, let alone be called up. This sounds a lot like the Escobar signing last year.
July 14, 200520 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:32 AM) Ummm....Mike Caruso has "experience" too. That doesn't mean he needs to be our backup SS. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:35 AM) Fullmer is a way better player than Caruso ever was... When Fullmer when healthy he was a solid ballplayer I swear to god, I'll never understand why. He batted .306 in '98. he played 2 years for us and he's mentioned 3 times a day in a negative light.
July 14, 200520 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:41 AM) Big K..... After seeing your av, you just can't resist Caruso references. Dude, 5 times today alone, people have insulted Mike Caruso. I just don't understand. The guy in my sig was a much bigger bust.
