Look at the transactions for July 8th

It says we signed Brad Fullmer and placed him on the DL

Not a bad signing as insurance if that is true. Of course if we signed him and put him on the DL and he hadnt been signed at this point in the season I have no clue what kind of condition he's in.

???

I hope you're wrong.  I'm ready to see Konerko out of Chicago.

Oh so am I. But you need to look at it this way. Brian Anderson is not going to put up Konerko like numbers next season, if he's playing everyday in the outfield, and that's if Dye's moving to first. And there's no real big name first baseman free agents out there besides Konerko, with only the likes of J.T Snow and Erubiel Durazo worth considering. Yes Konerko is slow, strikes out a ton at important moments, and is only hitting around .260, but he gives this Sox team a power element that it sorely needs. And I think they're gonna keep him around.

Ummm....Mike Caruso has "experience" too. That doesn't mean he needs to be our backup SS.

Fullmer is a way better player than Caruso ever was... When Fullmer when healthy he was a solid ballplayer

I swear to god, I'll never understand why. He batted .306 in '98. he played 2 years for us and he's mentioned 3 times a day in a negative light.

Big K.....

After seeing your av, you just can't resist Caruso references. :P

Dude, 5 times today alone, people have insulted Mike Caruso. I just don't understand.

The guy in my sig was a much bigger bust.
