As long as he is not in the closers role, he will help our team out, lookin at his stats prove that. July 18, 200520 yr Thinking in terms of only the 25 man roster, Hawkins is an upgrade over Shingo. A mid-level prospect being all it costs to upgrade, I'd pull the trigger on that deal.

July 18, 200520 yr I hope we do this.....the guy was a beast when pitching in the 7th and 8th innings....I remember our team not being able to do anything against him all these years He is definitely better than Shingo and would help a lot in the playoffs
