July 18, 200520 yr Scoop Jackson of ESPN.com wrote a nice article about being a Sox fan. He has some great NBA articles and it was nice to find out he's a big Sox fan also. Hope it hasn't been posted yet, if so, feel free to delete. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=jackson/050718
July 18, 200520 yr they have 13 more games against them Twins between now and Sept. 26. up by 12 games and have 13 left with the Twins.....I feel comfortable with that.
July 18, 200520 yr I like scoop, he seems like a pretty fair guy. I used to listen to him on Foxsports.com, Stephen A Smith would be screaming at people and calling them stupid, and Scoop would just tell him he was wrong and SAS couldnt say anything about it.
July 18, 200520 yr It's a great article, I must say. I think everyone on this board has to admit that they're waiting for the bottom to fall out.
July 18, 200520 yr Top notch sports journalism in an era of Moronotti and the trendy ESPN crowd. Glad to know he's on our side.

July 18, 200520 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 03:55 PM) Cool picture on Page 2 also, linking to the same article. Kinda sad that Shingo is in that image.
July 18, 200520 yr QUOTE(JohnStamos @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) Awesome article. I've read a couple articles by Scoop Jackson and his unique style along with his knowledge of Chicago and the Southside mades him fantastic. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...on/050718&num=1 your avatar is f***ing hilarious
July 18, 200520 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) Kinda sad that Shingo is in that image. I think they're just using images of Sox players looking up at "the falling sky." The timing is bad w/ Shingo being in it though.
July 19, 200520 yr Author Top notch sports journalism in an era of Moronotti and the trendy ESPN crowd. Glad to know he's on our side. He's a nice new voice for ESPN, much better than the yelling idiocy of Stephen A Smith.
