September 17 vs Twins

Featured Replies

The September 17th game at Minnesota is scheduled for 11am and there is NO television for that game.

What if it a potential clinching game?

Will anything be done to put that game on TV?

I think they'll work it out if it's the clinching game.

Common sense.

That is a Fox exclusive time slot. Unless Fox picks up the game and moves it to noon, I don't think they CAN do anything about it.

I think Fox would pick it up. Fun problem to worry about, though. :D

And take the Cubs/Cards off the air .... don't be so sure.

If anything, some sort of concession would have to be made so that WGN could pick it up, but I think there is some sort of legal issue with FOX having rights to all day Saturday games.

Reason it starts at 11 though is the Gophers have a football game the same day.

Well thanks for pointing that out. I was just wondering if anyone had any inside info as to how this type of deal works.

Awesome. That's a few more threads that wont be runined by your BS complaining. :cheers

I think the division will be wrapped up before then...or at least I hope.

This was discussed b4 the season even started and someone found out that if the cubs are out of contention and the sox game has any meaning that they will do the switch. So be happy and dont worry.

Hell. I wouldn't miss Steff's well placed barbs for the world. Even if I am the occasional recipient.

It's all about being a big boy. Like I just read in the cliche thread.. "if you can't stand the heat.. get out of the kitchen". Just a couple examples of folks who can't boil water. ;)

Yeah, it sure would be nice to see Konerko running around the bases with a beer can again.

I hope the Twins just completely fall apart and they clinch at home the week of the 6th. Against the Angels would be nice, too. Maybe we can sweep their rears and nock them out of winning their division at the same time.
