I caught a few minutes of the texas game on espn and I thought I heard the announcers mention that he was available. Supposedly Texas feels that with the Kenny Rogers suspension looming they are packing it in. The announcers also said the rangers have some stud ss minor leaguer also.

 

I was surpised to hear he was available if indeed it is correct. I would imagine the price would be steep for him. They need pitching for sure. He would obviously be a huge offensive upgrade and I believe he is good defensively.

 

My guess would be they would want B-Mac and maybe another top minor league pitching prospect to start with.

Well I've had problems posting as well...too much traffic to the site I guess....

They have Ian Kinsler in the minors. He's about ready, so I guess if they felt as if they were out of it they could trade him.

 

A more likely situation would be trading Soriano and moving Young back to 2B.

If they can't trade Soriano, they'll be trading Young. I've heard Boston is going to be going hard after Soriano.

Maybe they are thinking of going the pitching route and not the slugging. Funny thing is Young would be the perfect style for this team.

It would take more than that, a lot more. Young is a stud and he would be an awesome asset to this team. If we could get him, I would be estatic. I doubt he will be traded though, too young and talented.

Yeah they got some good hitters in Teixeira, Soriano, Young, and Blalock. I got Young and Blalock on my fantasy team and they are great.

I'd deal Bmac, Gio and Anderson for Michael Young. Don't know if the Rangers would though.
