July 26, 200520 yr Until I get home to find out one of my four cats, Ian, was killed today after being hit by a car. Sad part is we took the little guy, who was less than 2 years old, in after he showed up at our doorstep last August after being dumped by a family in our neighborhood who didn't want him. Even though its just a cat, just makes you more appreciative of the things you have and realize that something could be here today and gone tomorrow. (Sorry just had to vent somewhere after just being dealt this news.)
July 26, 200520 yr Wow, Sorry to hear that Alex. Ang and I were crushed last year when our 10 month old kitten died suddenly of pnuemonia. They grow on you quickly and become a part of your family.
July 26, 200520 yr Author Thanks all for your kind words. I'm really still in shock that this has happened, but you can't control things happening like this.
July 26, 200520 yr I know how you feel. My cat scooter died while we were on vacation when it choked to death. It was a stray cat that i found under the deck of my house and i convinced my parents to let it stay in the house. Very sad, and im sorry to hear about yours.
July 26, 200520 yr Sorry to hear that boz. I lost a cat a few years back, it was very hard for me. Like SnB said you get attatched to them.
July 27, 200520 yr I'll add my "sorry to hear that" to everyone elses... pets are just awesome. They just love you for who you are, no matter what. And when they go, you always have good memories of them. It always hurts when they leave us, but after some of that pain is gone you always have your good times.
