Our bench Widger,Ozuna, Gload, Harris, Perez is embarrasing. McCarthy, Harris and Vizcaino?????? After realizing Frank isn't coming back, we really need a bat if not two. Widger, Harris and Gload are not major league hitters and I am not too sure about Perez or Ozuna either.

July 29, 200520 yr Griffey ain't coming here. He's a running-out-a-groundball, snapping-a-hamstring, injury waiting to happen. Not to mention his insane contract. The Reds will be asking for the Charlotte and Birmingham pitching staffs as well as Garland and Buerhle for him, too. Not happening.

They'd probably take Rowand for him straight up just so they can get that contract off the books. It wouldnt surprise me if they put him on waivers after the season.
