Ground out to Iguchi, inning over. Ramirez doesn't drive in the guy from 2nd. Historic day.

told you I turn the TV off and they get manny out

Just remember everyone...Boston is the best offense in baseball, they're going to score runs. We're the best pitching in baseball...we just have to hope we can contain them.

I think this inning is punishment for your spelling of his name.  I blame you!

Haha. K. I'll spell Buerhle right now. Just to see if it works. :P

Garland

He seems to do well against everyone except Toronto. B)

It would be dandy if we could start to get our 8/9 hitters on base more. They're just as responsible for our recent offensive slump as Pods is.

Ask and you shall recieve.

GOOD WORK JUAN!

C'Mon Pods, let's make this 3/3.

If nothing else, just make Wells work...I want a shot at that Boston Bullpen.

Do you agree with my statement though?

Am I the only one who is finding it amusing how much press Rowand has received for his defense in NY, even though his catch vs Seattle was much more important in the scheme of things?

wow Charlotte is 44-72, they suck!!!

f***ing lucky break for Damon there.

Absolutely...Uribe or Crede gets hot and this team would be nearly unstoppable.

Pods with the deep fly out to Damon.

Damon snocones a drive by Pods. 2 outs

Yes, to a certain degree. Those two have to start getting on base more but atleast they've come up with some big hits when we've needed 'em.

By the way scotty absolutey mashed that ball.

Nope. And I don't think anything from NY was his best work of the year either. Thank Goodness we don't have a biased media.

It's new york. It just wasn't one catch though it was the whole series, he was magnificent and we probably lose that series if it wasn't for his glove. You're absolutely right though if you're looking at one catch that one against seattle was the most important.

Yep, besides for that first inning of the first series, none of Rowand's catches were truly sensational catches. Sure, he got very good jumps and caught the ball. However, I'd guess that almost any CF not named Bernie would have caught a majority of those fly balls. The Seattle catch basically won the Sox the game.

I disagree with that, even the yankee players were in awe of what aaron did.

Last few times Hawk started proclaiming Sox players should be Gold Glovers, Buehrle threw a ball into centerfield at Oakland, and Crede dropped a foul ball hit by Manny.

I would be too if I had to watch Bernie and Womack play in CF most games.

Cmon Mark, settle yourself down.

I think that there's very few CF's who would have made all those plays...guys named Edmunds, Jones, a healthy Hunter come to mind, but other than that I think a lot of them would have fallen and been taken on 1-2 hops.

Buehrle's going to have to start going inside on these hitters. Like I said, they have a great approach against Buehrle.
