August 12, 200520 yr Author All the starters should be going, but Cortes is my best guess for the Bristol rotation.
August 13, 200520 yr Author Charlotte up 1-0 after 3. Harris 3B, R. Brown RBI. Anderson 1-2. W-S up 3-0. Collaro HR. Nanita HR. Daigle 2B, ejected. Gonzalez 3 IP, 1 H, 0 K, 0 BB. Kanny up 4-2. King 3-R HR. Egbert 2 IP 2 ER. Bristol tied at 0. Cortes 3 IP, 0 H, 1 BB, 3 K
August 13, 200520 yr What'd Daigle do to get ejected? Also, nice to see Diaz pitch a gem (CG, 6 H, 1 R, 10 SO) Why Adkins and Timo are in Chicago over Diaz and Gload is so frustrating Edited August 13, 200520 yr by ChiSox_Sonix
August 13, 200520 yr Nice to see Gio have a real good outing today, he's struggled a bit down in Winston - Salem, 1BB with 5 K's, that'll keep improving the K/BB ratio.
August 13, 200520 yr Chris Young with another HR... average up to .279 What's the over under on him passing Sweeney in terms of average?
August 13, 200520 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 09:48 PM) Chris Young with another HR... average up to .279
August 13, 200520 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 07:39 PM) Gio was awesome, 7 innings 0 runs, 3 hits, 1 walk and 5 k's. Keep it up Gio.
August 13, 200520 yr Centerfielder Chris Young had a career night at the plate as he finished the game 4-for-6 with two doubles, six RBI and two runs scored. Kenny do not trade this kid.

August 13, 200520 yr Barons 5 Huntsville 3 W-Philips (8-4) L-Taubenhime Sv-Malone (1) Chris Young is on fire at the plate hit a long homerun today and was robbed on a great leaping catch that would have been a double. Josh Fields added a pair of hits including a double. Pedro Lopez had a pair oh hits and Jonathan Aceves first AB since returning to Bham drilled a 2 run single. Jerry Owens hit streak ended at 18 due to a great diving catch at 1st that would have been a triple. Heath pitched a good game and Corwin Malone got the save in the 9th saving the bullpen from a near disaster B.J. Lamura had a very disapointing outing walking 2 and giving up a 3-2 pitch double.
