August 19, 200520 yr Hey folks, I'm a lifelong Cubs fan. Not one of those trendy Wrigleyville people, either. I grew up watching Cubs games with my grandfather on the little black-and-white TV in his garage. A couple Sox fan friends of mine stood by me in 2003, so I have to return it now when the Sox are doing so well. I just wanted to say, don't worry about this little slump, s*** happens. The Sox are going to the playoffs and this time they're going to make it all the way through. Oakland should be worried. Good luck. August 19, 200520 yr Hey thanks for the kind words. Yeah this is the 1st actual slump the Sox have been in all year and most people act like they want to jump off a building or something. This stuff happens. Atleast its August and not September they are slumping.

August 19, 200520 yr thank you for confirming my lifelong believe that that are intelligent Cub fans. Funny thing is, we are fighting for the same casual fans that hard core Sox fans make fun of. Those 25,000 who attend each game, spend $$$$, cheer at the wrong time, do the wave, stand between innings, etc. Then we could draw 3,000,000 and Cub fans could make fun of Sox fans talking on their cell phones, standing at the wrong time, etc. BTW, if you happen to be Steve Bartman
