can you make me Raul Ibanez in a Sox uni please?

I would, but Kalapse made this a while ago, and I kinda took it from him without him knowing :chair I hope he doesnt mind.

Sorry, I have no clue how to do this, but maybe if you ask Kalapse, he would make one for you!

Yay, Yet another terrible line-up! Atleast Timo is out of there, but this is still 1 step-backwords for ozzie.

We have a total of 4 major League hitters in there today.

I'd lead off Guchi or Rowand,

Gooch/Rowand

Uribe -- He seems to need that extra incentive to have good ABs

Everett

Kong

Dye

Gooch/Rowand

Anderson

Widger

Ozuna

Uribe hitting 2nd? Not sure about that, and i think PK is at DH is cuz of his back so who would you have playing 1st in that lineup? Dye?

Have you seen uribe's AB's since last sunday?

He's the next best candidate for that spot behind Gooch.

Well, for starters, get anyone but Pablo Ozuna or Timo Perez out of the lead-off hole. Iguchi or Rowand would do quite fine. Get Uribe out of the heart of the order, he could be a serviceable 2 man. He's been doing decent as of late. Get Anderson some at-bats while we need another outfielder. I'd go:

1. Iguchi

2. Uribe

3. Rowand

4. Konerko

5. Everett

6. Dye

7. AJP/Widger

8. Anderson

9. Crede/Ozuna

Yes i have and his stats back me up. hitting .224 in the month of auguest. not to mention he is a free swinger, which you dont want to have in the 2 hole. and you never answered my other question about who would play 1st...

love Iguchi in the 3 spot because he is the Sox best all around hitter.

i will ask you the same question, with pk's back still hurting (thats why he is DHing), who would you have play 1st

that is exactlly why i liked your lineup, he can hit for power as well so that would be a great spot for iguchi right now

Switch Blum for Anderson. No real offense lost in this move. And obviously this Paulie DHing is temporary.

Yeah, it's not like Iguchi leads the team in strikeout rate or anything :rolly

Uribe, despite being a free swinger, makes contact a lot more than you give him credit for. He's been having the best ABs of anyone on the team for a week now. heck, .224 makes him like the top hitter for August

He'd get the job done.

yea, i hope PK's back is better in a hurry, he is one of the most underrated defensive 1B in baseball and we need him out there as well as him being healthy for the strech run

no that .224 average would make him the 2nd worst hitter in the starting lineup for august, behind crede. do some research before you try and prove me wrong :bang :bang

Uribe's .291 OBP in August is better than other #1/#2 whole candidates, such as Rowand (.260), Iguchi (.288), Ozuna (.167), and Perez (.243).

That's a good line up.But what if PK's back is still hurting,is he available for pinch-hitting?

BTW:I say Ozuna should lead off,and Widger should play.I think his bat could finally work today.

Jermaine is playing for Oakland again?

Go ahead and get all high and mighty, you're just going to make yourself look foolish. :rolly

I've watched Uribe for the last week, a despite having just 3 hits to show for it, he is the only White Sox hitter with a plan up at the plate.

Oh, Ok, 'cause BA is more important than OBP, right?

You're the only one looking foolish, buddy...
