I like Gload,but just because he can hit in Charlotte doesn't mean he could hit in the Majors,but don't get me wrong,it would be good to see him again.

 

He hit .320 last year up here, with a 115 OPS+. He can hit major league pitching.

Good job by Contreras overcoming 10 hits today. Lets put this game in the hands of our bullpen.

He has 7 homers this year in 283 AB. Last year, he has 17 homers in 523 AB. That's a significant decrease in homers/AB. And yes, from all the games I've seen him play with Cubs and Red Sox, he was a bad fielder.

Where did you see this trade? Sounds more like a video game trade for me. Texas won't want Mays, who has a pretty big contract. I've heard Rangers will only do the trade if they can get Liriano.
