October 8, 200520 yr This team is so great I can't bring myself to vote for just one MVP. If I did vote, I guess AJ would be a good pick.
October 8, 200520 yr I'm voting El-Duque. While AJP provided all the offense necessary in Game 1, Duque performed flawlessly in perhaps the most crucial situation this entire series. Bases loaded, 0 outs, leading by 1 run and battling through two consecutive full counts. One run scores and the momentum shifts towards Boston. Damon's strikeout completely altered the complexion of the game Red Sox hitters were deflated. He's my MVP. You could argue Iguchi faced a similar situation Wednesday, although I feel Duque's three innings of work were far more crucial in enemy territory. Edited October 8, 200520 yr by Flash Tizzle
October 8, 200520 yr Tony the great giving us an extra out in game two that gives iguchi a chance to put us ahead with his homer. Graffy gets my vote.
October 8, 200520 yr Orlando pitched the most important inning of White Sox baseball in my lifetime, if the world were to end today, he would be the All Time White Sox MVP, so I figure he must be the MVP of this series. My uncle and I were joking that if this were the Red Sox clinching game 3 in that manner, that ESPN would have come up with a name for that inning it was so incredible. So from now on we believe that should be referred to as "The Inning".
October 8, 200520 yr I voted for El Duque for the simple fact that if we lose the lead and proceed to lose this game, our momentum is completely gone and the Red Sox have a chance of winning. Abso-f***ing-lutely awesome. White Sox in the ALCS + McCarthy and - Marte.
