Something else odd is that he was ranked 26th in his class coming out, not 26th overall, but the 26th best shooting guard in his class. Yikes.

He was even listed as a SG? I'm not surprised that he was rated that low. How often do you see a big time prospect go to a school outside of the top conferences? Not everyone can get the big time players, and someone has to score no matter what team it is.

Yep he was 6'5 190 pounds coming out, here's a pic if it will allow it.

Killingsworth Earns Second Big Ten Weekly Honor

Dec. 5, 2005

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana senior forward Marco Killingsworth earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors for the second time on the young season the conference office announced on Dec. 5. The Montgomery, Ala., native shared the weekly honor with James Augustine of Illinois. Killingsworth garnered the distinction after averaging 24 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest during the week. He also received the honor on Nov. 21 after registering a double-double (28 points and 13 rebounds) against Nicholls State.

"Marco continues to play great basketball," Indiana head coach Mike Davis said. "He works hard day in and day out. He had an exceptional game against Duke, and then came back with a solid performance against Eastern Michigan. We knew how good Marco was, now everyone is seeing first hand his talent. He has become a leader on this team and a lot of the guys look up to him."

The award was the second for Killingsworth in only the third week of the 2005-06 Big Ten honor. He became the first IU player since Steve Alford on Jan. 30, 1984 and Feb. 13, 1984 to be honored twice in a three-week period.

Facing the reigning National Defensive Player of the Year, Shelden Williams, and top-ranked Duke, Killingsworth went 15-of-20 from the field to tally a career-high 34 points, while adding 10 rebounds. His 15 field goals were the most scored in a game by a Hoosier since Andrae Patterson went 15-of-29 from the field against Duke in the Preseason NIT on Nov. 29, 1996. Killingsworth also became the first player to score 30 or more points against Duke since Nick Collison of Kansas on March 27, 2003. The 30-plus point and 10-plus rebound performance was the first for Hoosier since Alan Henderson had 41 points and 13 rebounds against Michigan State on March 9, 1994.

Killingsworth followed that performance up with 14 points in a 79-63 victory over Eastern Michigan on Dec. 3. In doing so, Killingsworth helped Davis to his 100th career victory at Indiana.

The fifth-year senior leads the Hoosiers in points (21.6) and rebounds (8.4) on the season. Killingsworth is 44-of-65 from the field, shooting .677 on the campaign.

The Hoosiers return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Indiana State. The game is slated for 7:05 p.m., and will be televised on ESPN Plus. The contest can also be heard on the IU Radio Network with Don Fischer (play-by-play), former IU guard Todd Leary (analysis) and Joe Smith (pre-game, halftime, post game) on the call.

Not as pretty, and 4 minutes too late. :P

All i did was copy yours, therefore it obviously came after

Why is Carolina in the poll shocking? We hung with Illinois, and beat a top 10 Kentucky team at Rupp.

We got arkansas-little rock at the hall tonight.

Why do i have a feeling this isn't going to be a blowout like it should be?

ALR only lost to MSU by 5

At least Iowa State is playing like they have a pair, up 23-12 8 minutes in against a Drake team that gave BC troubles.

Louisville 47, Richmond 43 - 1:34 to go - Taquan Dean 28 pts.

Edited by gettysburg32

Louisville 53, Richmond 45 - final - Dean saved the Cards w/ 30 pts. - UR led almost the whole way until about 6 min to go.

Other interesting scores in progress now...

Ark-Little Rock 28 @ Illinois 32 - half

Northwestern State 32 @ Okla St. 29 - half

Longwood 35 @ Kansas St. 36 - half

Fairleigh Dickinson 44 @ Seton Hall 46 - 7 min to go

FDU over the Hall is not really that big a deal as Seton Hall is terrible, KSU is terrible too but Longwood (a school here in VA) is in their 2nd year in D1.

Not questioning their performance or anything, I didn't expect you guys to be in any poll this year. You guys have done pretty good, for losing all you did.

Big 12 Scores

Northwestern State 45, Oklahoma State 35, @ OSU - 13:48

Texas 63, Rice 35 - 11:25

Kansas State 46, Longwood 37 - 14:52

Iowa State 61, Drake 49 - 13:09

Rahshon Clark is some kind of fun to watch. 17 pts so far, and one of the most electrifying in the nation.

Thought this was funny:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Demetrius Nelson scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds as The Citadel beat Atlanta Christian 126-61 Monday.

The 126 points for the Bulldogs (5-3) tied a school record set just a game ago when The Citadel beat Florida Christian 126-43.
