rate my crazy plan for tomorrow

take the train to the cell at 6:30, wait until 7:30 or bottom of the second trying to get in at $250 or less lower bowl, face or just above it for upper deck. We plan to hang around just east of the cordoned off area, between the green and red lines and on the expy.

if we fail, take the red line back up to downtown and scramble into a bar to catch the rest.

is this hairbrained? bound to fail? genius? :bang

oh we definitely will. my buddy and I aren't thinking we're definitely going to get in or anything. But I'd shoot myself if I didn't try. I've tried literally everything else. I've got to try this too.

Ive got the same plan :cheers

I passed along your plan to the CFO.. who for some reason since we took him and his fiance to a game earlier this year, seems to think that we should have gotten them tickets to a game.

I think it's a great idea. No harm in trying. If you do come up short, there's a bunch of great bars around the area that you can go to and watch the game.

Pfffttt... I can't get that lucky.

This is my plan as well, but my limit is $300! I'm hoping to get lucky.

I'm also thinking that it might be better to try this on Sunday, since the demand tomorrow will be unreal.

I don't think so. Scalpers can't get as close to the park as they'd like to, and there wont be as many people there because of the "bubble". The market is going to favor the buyer both days, IMO. Good luck regardless. :cheers

Hopefully I wont blow too much cash, but this is the World Series. Can't wait.

what are some good bars around that area east of the "bubble" (in case I don't get lucky)?

That's my plan, but I'm doing it for game 2. I'll let you guys be the guinea pigs.

The sucky part is, if I don't get in, I'll have to ride the train back up north and will have a hard time getting into the bars I like and will miss most of the game.

Bump.

Any tips on the scalping situation?

Look out for scalpers. 6 arrests tonight for counterfits.

Anyone get tix from a scalper?

We parked by Shinnock's, and I can tell you there was absolutely no security bubble all the way to the gate. We had 4 or 5 people ask us if we were selling but saw nobody selling.
