I'm pretty sure there is a negative correllation between Kyle Orton's facial hair and his passing accuracy.

The thing I don't get is that the media says that his strength in college was throwing the deep ball.  Whenever I watched Purdue games, it seemed like every pass was a 7 yard slant.

 

Outside of the slants, he threw the occasional long ball, and usually hit it. He's got a cannon...not that that means he's going to be accurate. As soon as he was shaken mentally, he'd start missing receivers all over the place.

Man - Orton has a good drive then finishes it with a s*** throw when he coulda hit Moose in the end zone.

This is what frustrated me the most about him while at Purdue. It doesn't seem as bad for him this year, sans Cincinnati.

Orton you make me pound my head on walls.

 

You can't hit receivers in stride, you overthrow people constantly, and you have no idea what to do when the pressure is on.

I thought the commentator said Orton knew how/when to throw it away at the end of fthe 2nd quarter.

I seriously wonder why the refs don't just throw a flag when a team goes into punt formation.
