December 19, 200520 yr What is everyones Fav Flicks during Christmas? I have to go with 1 A Christmas Story 2 National lampoons Christmas Vacation
December 19, 200520 yr A Christmas Story. Have to see that at least once per year. -Elf -Bad Santa -Polar Express
December 19, 200520 yr The 1951 version of A Christmas Carol, also known as Scrooge, starring Alistair Sim as Ol' Ebenezer. The echt film version of the story.
December 19, 200520 yr My three favorites have already been listed: A Christmas Carol (1951), It's a Wonderful Life, and A Christmas Story. Throw in all of the Rankin and Bass animated specials, Charlie Brown Christmas, and the brilliant and little-known Olive the Other Reindeer and you're all set. Pour me an eggnog and light up that yule log!
December 19, 200520 yr -Home Alone 1 and 2 -A Christmas Story -A Christmas Carol -Christmas Vacation For me, Christmas would not be the same without these movies.
December 19, 200520 yr I was brought up on "a christmas story" elf is going to become a classic as well.
December 19, 200520 yr I get older, but "Home Alone" just continues to get better. For me, it's easily the best Christmas movie. Everybody needs a little Chevy Chase come Christmas time too.
December 19, 200520 yr Watched "Christmas Vacation" on NBC last night. Still a good one. "Since this is Aunt Bethany's 80th Christmas, I think she should lead us in the saying of Grace." "What, dear?" "Grace!" "Grace? She passed away thirty years ago. "
December 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Dec 19, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) Watched "Christmas Vacation" on NBC last night. Still a good one. "Since this is Aunt Bethany's 80th Christmas, I think she should lead us in the saying of Grace." "What, dear?" "Grace!" "Grace? She passed away thirty years ago. " I watched it but they totally ruined the end of the rant Clark made after receiving his "christmas bonus".
December 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Dec 19, 2005 -> 04:39 PM) I watched it but they totally ruined the end of the rant Clark made after receiving his "christmas bonus". Where's the Tylenol?
December 19, 200520 yr National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is a classic! I also like Home Alone 1 and A Christmas Story.
December 20, 200520 yr Christmas Story Home Alone 1 & 2 (Saw both this weekend) Elf (watched today) Love 'em.
December 20, 200520 yr I have to see Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life and I prefer the old 1930's version of A Christmas Carol. This summer I saw Elf and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting it to be pretty bad but it was good. Over the last couple of years The Ref has become a favorite too.
December 20, 200520 yr 3. A Christmas Story I just my "leg lamp" Christmas ornament for our tree. 2. Elf "Tickle Fight!!" 1. THE REF Mrs. Ribbie and I watch this classic every Christmas Eve after our son goes to Sleep. Ahhh...what a warm, romantic film. Caroline: I had this dream... Lloyd: Do we have to do dreams? Caroline: I'm in this restaurant, and the waiter brings me my entree. It was a salad. It was Lloyd's head on a plate of spinach with his penis sticking out of his ear. And I said, "I didn't order this." And the waiter said, "Oh you must try it, it's a delicacy. But don't eat the penis, it's just garnish." Dr. Wong: Lloyd, what do you think about the dream? Lloyd: I think she should stop telling it at dinner parties to all our friends.
December 20, 200520 yr The two Muppets Christmas movies (A Christmas Carol and the one that was on NBC about 3 years ago). Also any A Christmas Carol version.
December 20, 200520 yr Not necessarily a Christmas movie (even though the beginning and ending take place on Christmas eve) I've always liked Family Man. Nicholas Cage is a pretty good actor IMHO.

I just purchased this one on DVD not too long ago, actually. Great flick.
