Ignore him, he's lying.

IIRC, single game tickets usually go on sale at 10 A.M.

According to what my rep told me a week or two ago:

January 24th: Season ticket holders get first shot at single-game tix

January 25th: Split season holders get their shot

January 27th: Everyone else

Also, my rep just emailed me today and told me that there will probably be some sort of online form for the 1/24 and 1/25 season ticket holder dates to use. On 1/27, they open up via the normal ticketmaster nightmare.

Of course this year especially, they will hold a TON of tickets back for people that still want to order season tickets. So it may seem the lower deck is sold out, but in reality if you wanted to order full season tickets, they will probably be available.

Sounds good to me. I want to get my hands on some 'more' opening day tix, before everyone else. Everyone else :finger

Stand in line. And I wouldn't hold high hopes.. we (30+ years on one account and 11 on another) have been told we aren't going to be able to get the 8 per account we usually get.

No. Split season means the actual Split Season plans (27 games). Ozzie plan holders are not characterized by the Sox ticket office as being season ticket holders. And before you start, don't complain to me about that, complain to the Sox.

Yeah, I got the impression that as a 27-game holder, we'd be very lucky to get any extras at all to the Cubs or Opening Series. But at least we get a pre-public shot at some other games we want. And we might get lucky on the big series.

Hopefully there will be a few left for opening day for us split holders.

We got the Hit and Run, so we already have that. :D I'm hoping to pick up some weekend Cubs game tix. And some other weekends as well, actually.

Bold prediction here... The Sox break the 3 million fan barrier for the first time in franchise history in 2006.

Don't make Tony cry.

Well, worse comes to worse, i have 4.

Plus, I can still hold hope for my ticket connection. He has gotten us 8 in the club level the last 4 years...I wonder what will happen this year? Starting to sound bad.

I put a thread in Swapmeet asking if anyone around here wants to sell any sets of Club seats. I was thinking if some people did it as individuals, they might want to sell off some games.

/shameless plug

I call them vip cause they say vip on the ticket. Either way, I've gotten some great tickets in the past. Plus I was able to get them for prime games that were selling out...not sure how this will work now.

quit picking on me :P

Has your hook up ever gotten you up to the Bard's Room..? Food's OK (and free), but the perk is eating with Jerry and other investors. That's a good time.
