Jeff Blake is probably one of the ten or fifteen most entertaining QB's of the last decade. He's one of those Jeff George types that's fun to watch throw bombs. Not saying he should be the starter in the playoffs of course but I think the Bears win 11 games if Blake were the QB this season

Im not joking when I say start Blake over Orton if you know who goes down. Hell, start my grandma ( who has alzheimers ) over Orton if it came down to that.

Did you see that Marino-like pass from Blake to Gage? I dont think Grossman could have done that.

The reason I heard Blake didn't start earlier this year was that he couldn't grasp the playbook. I wondered myself why he wasn't starting over Orton until I heard that.

From what I heard they were starting to consider playing Blake when we were 1-3... but than after we kept winning they didnt feel the need to change to him.
