Ok, would the facemask prevent the fumble from happening?

You'd think...after the Broncos game...ya know...be more careful...I dunno...

It's still Bears ball because of the fasemask I believe.

The Bears will still have the ball on the facemask. It was a personal foul facemask, so I think its an automatic first down.

Ok here's my thoughts. Since there was a facemask before the fumble, wouldn't we accept the penalty and still hold onto the ball. I wouldn't think they'd be able to get the ball back on a defensive penalty, but maybe I'm wrong???

 

I'm hoping for 1st and goal on the 1. I'd be crushed if we lost the football.

I think the Bears will have it on the 1 yard line after this challenge. Thank God for the face mask or else the Panthers would have it on the 20.

It's half the distance from the spot of the fasemask foul (7 yard line) so 1st and goal at the 3 and a half.
