July 13, 200619 yr QUOTE(DePloderer @ Jul 13, 2006 -> 05:00 PM) We're staying at the Palmer House in town. Well...Welcome to town Mr. Fancypants! QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 13, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) I'm confused... And the sun sets in the west...typical day, eh? Edited July 13, 200619 yr by RibbieRubarb
July 14, 200619 yr Defintily get lower level seating. The Upper Deck seats restrict your experience, you'll still get to see a hell of a baseball team, but for your first time, walking around the park and taking it all in is the way to go.

Thanks to Chisoxrd5 the tickets are sorted. All I need to know is how long will it take me to get a train from the hotel to O'Hare, pick up a car and drive back to the hotel on a Saturday morning? Not being sure of the geography I can't work out when to book my pick up time for.

Estimating the time there. I never took a train from the city to O'Hare.

I'm in the lousy stinking useless upper deck and 2. I'll have my daughter with me, which means I rarely stray from my seats. Enjoy the game, though, Plod, and bring the Sox some UK MOJO!!!

August 11, 200619 yr Not sure if Simon is posting on here while he is in the US, but just so everyone knows his flight was delayed but he made it in yesterday evening. He picked quite a day to fly in huh? I spoke to him over the phone and I'm definitely looking forward to attending Saturday's game with with him and his son! Edited August 11, 200619 yr by Chisoxrd5

August 11, 200619 yr QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 06:45 PM) I'm out. Attending the MLBPA Charity Golf Outing at the Grand Geneva. And unlike last year, which got this site in Sports Illustrated, don't come back with some "juicy" story. And yes, I know it wasn't you - but the story came from that, didn't it?

When have I ever started a "story" here....
