Thanks to knightini and alex I was able to get in and stop the emails from going out so only some members got them.

RME, did you still get that after I turned the site back online?

I've changed the skins of the site temporarily as we are going to totally clean and rebuild the skin that was suffering most issues.

We really apologize about this and hopefully we can get this damn thing protected.

Not even the hackers like you.

I also suggest that anyone visiting the siteat around 1:45 AM CT last nite run Virex or Spyware programs.

If you open it, but don't click on the link, are you at risk?

No. (unless you have something that automatically opens email extensions, and that's not good anyway)

On the brightside, if the Wrigleyville Sports banner comes up, it'll match the skin now. Heh.

THOSE SILLY CUB FANS!

ALWAYS TRYING TO MAKE TROUBLE FOR US SOUTH SIDERS.

did anyone call that asshole?

Those show up from time to time thanks to google ads.

Did the server just go down momentarily? I got a blank white page with a PH NUKE sign in the middle, and it said the MySQL server is down for a few minutes. Wierd.

edit: N/M, i read the thread

Ya. We were making some quick changes to improve security. Just had to adjust some settings following them. It was us better protecting the site :)

It takes about 5 seconds of work to get those to stop showing up

I think your right. I just have to go into the control panel for adsense right? And say I don't want the ad from there?

i opened the link and my security auto-deleted the trojan. but a trojan was on my computer for like 2 secounds.

Just want to point out that the main default skin will be back up tomorrow.

Now WSI appears to be down. I hope its in no way related and just normal downtime.

i got the email, then i got one that said to not open or something. So i opened both of them. But did not click onm links. You can tell it is bulls*** if there are a bunch of signs and the email makes no sense at all.

In related events... I just got a Soxtalk personal message that looks like it is this hacker crap.

Watch Out.

We've got this cleared up.....just someone trying to advertise thru PM.
