I don't think I've ever been this pissed with the bracket overall as a whole, normally I'm mad but get over it, but I still have this angry feeling inside of me because of it.

Tennessee is the 2 seed in the bracket. I don't think any team here can complain about being "screwed over." I think some people need to take off the orange-tinted glasses once in a while.

We were blown away by ND, who was lucky to even win their 1st round game against UWM. We also had a very very young team besides Cook and mediocre Harrington, and didn't win the league in the RS. We did win the BTT, but it's been proven that that means little for your seed over the years. I think the 2nd round game kinda showed just how good that Illinois team was.

He's implying your lucky Tenn is the 2 seed in that bracket. Sure you may have been seeded low, but Tenn is the worse 2 seed and would probably be the worse 3 seed. That means your bracket is a lot easier thanks to that.

I'd rather play Washington in the 2nd round than UNC or Michigan State to be honest. Being the #4 just means we lose to UConn in the Sweet 16 and not the Elite 8.

Fair enough. I'd still rather have taken a chance on somebody knocking UCONN off in the sweet 16 before they got to us. Assuming that's how it played out. No sense in going on about this anymore. I'm just thinking about Air Force right now.

It sounds like some people here would rather be a 2 seed in a bracket with 4 top ten teams than in this one. Cuz we all know, it's all about the seed.

You have a point. I thought you were implying that Tennessee deserved a 2 seed over Illinois/UNC.

I find it kind of...depressing that, in all but Bradley's 1st round game, the MVC drew all big east.

 

I would love to see all 3 win(and in the bracket i filled out, they do), but ESPN would go flippin nuts if the Valley...the conference that for the most part they have called overrated and undeserving of so many bids...beat the Big East, who they thought all along should get more teams in at the expense of the Valley.

I would also like to point out the committee did it's best to f*** over the Valley teams and make them go 0-4. Looking for any reason they can to have more big school get the at large bids in the future.

Personally, I think SIU has a decent chance to take down West Virginia. If they can limit the wide open 3's, they should have a decent chance. Witchita State can also hang with Seton Hall, that's a winnable game. Northern Iowa also has a chance against Georgetown, although they'll have to play pretty well to beat them. I don't give Bradley too much of a chance though.

I'm thrilled with the siu matchup, couldn't have asked for a better one to be honest. I fully expect the Shocks to win against SHU. As far as UNI, I think that'll be a real good, low scoring game but I expect gtown to pull it out.

I'm very pleased with what IU's got set in front of them, but I don't see them taking advantage of it. We got the potential 2nd round match that everyone wanted to get against Gonzaga. The homer in me believes we've got a great shot with the way we're playing and the regional we're in; however, I don't want blind optimism to screw myself out of any brackets.

Bradley has the best set up MVC team to beat a high major team, with SIU a close 2nd. Hence, Bradley gets the toughest opponent (Kansas) with SIU a somewhat close 2nd (West Virginia). UNI I guess is also set up to beat a high major since they've done it, but they get G-Town and then Ohio State, so they are pretty screwed too.

Location, seed, prolonging an inevitable meeting with the powerhouse? I'd give up all those things for a weaker bracket.

 

I'm mostly against the exaggerated "We always get screwed over" type posts which I keep reading. As if we were the only underseeded team ever in NCAA history and only high-seeded team to ever play far from home.
