March 18, 200620 yr QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 10:50 PM) nice well they should have a pretty good basketball and football team unlike purdue Their football program is doomed, and their basketball team is losing its top 3 players. But hockey!!! #1 baby!!! This means I'll have to become a hockey fan.

March 22, 200620 yr STOP TRAVELING MINNESOTA Its not legal, so stop doing it. 46-40 Cincy with 12:40 left
March 22, 200620 yr Well, game's over, 76-62 Cincinnati. The bias in me says that Cincy got a lot of calls, but it wouldn't have made a difference, since Minnesota played absolutely dreadful. Oh well In other NIT news, South Carolina took out Florida State in OT 69-68 tonight, while in past days that no one has updated in thread: Saturday: Manhattan 87 - Maryland 84 Monday: Michigan 87 - Notre Dame 84 2OT Louisville 74 - Clemson 68 Missouri State 60 - Houston 59 Hofstra 77 - St. Joe's 75 OT Miami 53 - Creighton 52 Manhattan 66 - Old Dominion 70
March 22, 200620 yr quaterfinal games start tomorrow with 3 games on tap then the 4th is set for Thursday
March 23, 200620 yr Scores from tonights action: Old Dominion 61 - Hofstra 51 Michigan 71 - Miami 65 Louisville 74 - Missouri State 56
March 24, 200620 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 23, 2006 -> 07:23 AM) Well Amaker's one hell of an NIT coach if that counts for anything. At least they're still playing I guess. Sure it's not the Big Dance but they're the only Big Ten team left.
March 24, 200620 yr QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 23, 2006 -> 11:31 PM) At least they're still playing I guess. Sure it's not the Big Dance but they're the only Big Ten team left. And that makes them the 7th best team in the Big Ten.
March 24, 200620 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 23, 2006 -> 10:35 PM) And that makes them the 7th best team in the Big Ten. but they have a chance to do something Michigan State could not do....defeat a CAA team in the postseason
March 25, 200620 yr I was rooting for Hofstra since I go there, oh wait I go to the community college right next to it.
March 27, 200620 yr Another Dave Odom special. Goddamn this team frustrates the hell outta us South Carolina backers. Just plays dead for the first 2/3rds of the season, then come SEC tourney time, Hey!! we're a real basketball team!! 1 fluke tipin from beating Florida in the championship, and here have beaten Florida St and Cincy on teh road, on the way to the NIT Final Four. If they get past Louisville, they can repeat as NIT champs. But is it something that I'm gonna be bragging about??
March 31, 200620 yr Not one post on the NIT dominace of SC? lol. Guess it's time to close this thread.
