March 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 05:18 PM) http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/9310118 Yuck. It keeps getting worse. Um, Heads, hate to be the bearer of worse news, but I just found out about this. I'm a Hawk fan, but you guys don't deserve this crap! http://iowastate.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fi...0692440&style=2
March 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 06:20 PM) Yay. I don't know why I do it to myself. http://cyclones.collegesports.com/sports/m.../031506aab.html Stinson and Blalock...They gone????
March 16, 200620 yr Author So, I'm thinking we may be worse than this years Missouri. That is a horrible feeling.
March 16, 200620 yr Alex, after laughing uncontrollably for a minute or two, all I can say is I'm sorry. I guess you can enjoy when Iowa blows the tourney or goes deep only to lose Alford. Talk about rough.
March 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 07:06 PM) Thank God the Sox didn't blow it last year, or I'd be on the ledge. you can always come transfer here, you can sleep on my floor!
March 16, 200620 yr Stinson, Blalock, and Morgan all possibly gone? Damn, that's crazy. Could your 2006 class get out of their LOI's?? No wonder Iowa State leads for the player from that fradulent school boys to men. Look at it this way Heads, you can't be worse than Missouri's 4 player and 4 walk on team next year.
March 16, 200620 yr I've never seen either of these guys play or heard much about them (I guess that says something since I follow college really closely), are they even NBA 2nd rounders?
March 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 06:28 PM) I've never seen either of these guys play or heard much about them (I guess that says something since I follow college really closely), are they even NBA 2nd rounders? I don't think so. If ISU had two legit 2nd rounders on there team I'd like to think they'd be in the tourney. That said ISU vastly underachieved all season. They had some talent, it just never came to fruition.

BTW, happy 10K to me...

March 16, 200620 yr Author Blalock has been projected as a late first-early second and Stinson a second rounder from what I've seen. The scuttlebutt is ISU had three draft picks on their team this year between those two and Clark.
March 16, 200620 yr Author http://nbadraft.net/index.asp?content=mock2007 Next year....Blalock 27, Stinson 47.

If you look at the Big 12 they're regarded as the best backcourt in the conference for some reason. I don't know about that, but a lot of people love the duo.
March 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 09:01 PM) I guess you can enjoy when Iowa blows the tourney or goes deep only to lose Alford. you use the term 'lose' liberally. 'be relieved of' would be a bit more realistic.
March 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 10:17 PM) Blalock has been projected as a late first-early second and Stinson a second rounder from what I've seen. The scuttlebutt is ISU had three draft picks on their team this year between those two and Clark. At least they have some talent on their team at the time of this scandal. When I was at Iowa and the Iowa State football program got in trouble, they had a horrible team. They used to have bumper stickers, "Iowa State Football: The Worst Team Money Can Buy" Edited March 16, 200620 yr by Dick Allen
March 17, 200620 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 01:00 AM) So according to college gamenight, ISU just fired their coach. Yep, I can confirm hearing that. Heads is dancing in the streets somewhere.
