World Series DVD

Featured Replies

Just got word today that the World Series DVD has been shipped to me -- the one that has all the WS games on it and select playoff games. :)

Also, this DVD will be in stores next Tuesday, March the 28th.

Someone near and dear to my heart wanted me to tell all the good folks at Soxtalk that it will be going for $54 at Best Buy.

Might be faster since this was a pre-order.

they should make a dvd set with every game from last year. that would be rad.

that wud be rad.

I just ordered the comcast one :o. Im a bet behind, needa get some moneyy :]

is there going to be a dvd set of ALL the playoff games? obviously the world series was the most important series but i found the angels, red sox games more exciting(maybe with the exception of ws game 2) ?

There were some put out on Ebay a while ago, but those were not "official", and they do not show up anymore.

As others have mentioned, Deep Discount DVD.

I don't have the cash to drop 50 with all the bills to pay. Do you guys think this will be on sale for a while, or one of those that mysteriously "vanishes" down the road?

Just got home and my email from DDD was in my mailbox, woohoo!

If I had to guess...it will be even cheaper at Fry's in Downers Grove. I'll post when I find out.

I just ordered mine 2 nights ago from deepdiscountdvd for $42 and free shipping. Anyone do that $20 deal that they offer where you get signed up for a web site, but you can cancel it right away?

Just received my copy today! Watching Game 3 as we speak.

I am no DVD expert, but I am dissapointed in that it doesn't appear to be widescreen. Well it is Widescreen, but it doesn't take up the full screen like most of the widescreen movies.

Other than that, it's pretty much a lost weekend!

You can download all the Sox post season games right here for a mere $3.95 apiece. I've downloaded a couple of games (ALDS #1 and ALCS #5)

After you download them you can burn them to a CD and watch them on your computer. The quality isn't exactly great, the pixels are spread out a bit when you go full screen, but it's defnitely passable or adequate to watch.

Also the games are unedited, THE COMMERCIALS ARE STILL IN THERE! I guess the advertisers offset the cost of the games.

Was there a DVD with the SI promotion?

My dad copied all the playoff games and the Ralley onto DVDs for me from his TIVO. WHAT A DAD!!!

I was hoping to see one released that had ALL the playoffs and WS games, but I checked into the current offering and just ordered from deep discount. It seems like a good site.

just got my dvd today, it was amazing.
