iWiN4PreP
I know this is a kinda, stupid, weird question, but I've been wondering past 3 days (cause i havent been online much), whats up with thome? He was injured, got sent to the minor camp thing or whatever? And hit a homerun i guess. Any news on him? Im sure hes slated for opening day to be in the lineup, right? But any idea on when well see him in a spring training game, and any other news like that? Or any news on what he did (if he played) today? SSH2005
Thome tweaked his hamstring a week ago but he's fine now. I believe the last time Thome played was a day or two ago in a minor league game. He batted second in every inning of the game and went 2 for 6 with a HR and 2 walks. Here are his ST stats... iWiN4PreP
Thanks. Does anyone know if he played today? Or if their was a game? And he's still perfectly fine by opening day. Cuase me and my dad were a bit worried about him... Should we be?
SSH2005
Thome didn't play in the ST game today but he may have played in the minor league game. Not sure. I'm sure Thome will be ready to go on opening day. No worries.

Or they could call up Bucky Jacobsen from Charlotte if he's raking at the time. Edited March 26, 2006 by SSH2005
fathom
Can we keep this thread going for the whole year? Thome will have quite a few day-to-day injuries throughout the season.

GreatScott82
QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 12:36 AM) Ah k.. just what would happen if he went down? cintron at dh? mackowiak at dh? gload? etc. i mean, its not horrendous, but, i really hope thome is healthy. This is why i hoped Borchard made the team. However, if Thome does go down, Gload is capable of being a productive DH, just not as much power. Ozzie will adjust accordingly. Jordan4life_2007
After today's performance, I'd say he's doing pretty good.
