April 15, 200619 yr Just got home...what a GREAT game. It was smoking hot in the sun. Good to see the White Sox over come being down 2-0. Great job by Mark, Bobby, Paulie and Tadahito.
April 15, 200619 yr havent seen the play radio says Konerko was not that impressed with the play because he didnt need to make it so rushed or something
April 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(rventura23 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 03:50 PM) havent seen the play radio says Konerko was not that impressed with the play because he didnt need to make it so rushed or something Konerko just thinks Gooch took his spotlight of the game
April 15, 200619 yr Iguchi's play may be one of the top 3 I've ever seen. Wow what a hop that ball took and to get the throw off was amazing. We'll be seeing replays of that one all year long. To Gooch, Mark, PK and Jenks...
April 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 04:24 PM) Its that great, We could not beleive it sitting in our seats. I'm going to play devils advocate a bit here: the play was unreal but it was that good because Tad made it that good by tripping and stumbling over himself. The throw that he got off was ridiculous but it didn't have to be that hard. EDIT: And I don't want to make it seem like I'm saying the play wasn't great because I don't think I've ever seen anyone get a throw off like that before, the throw was beyond unbelievable. I'm just saying that he did kind of make it harder on himself. Edited April 15, 200619 yr by Rowand44
April 15, 200619 yr Did anyone catch the 2nd guy on the SC broadcast going into the next highlight? "Hawk said it, so it must be true."

April 15, 200619 yr I think he was off balance because of the spin on that bounce.... it forced Iguchi to lunge forward for it.... If I was charging a ball and it took a wierd bounc ewith english I might be flat on my ass I have seen Crede fall flat on his ass on bad hops
April 15, 200619 yr I am so lucky that I went to today's game! I saw Konerko hit two homeruns! I saw that amzing play by Iguchi! It reminded me of a play that you would see in the movies! Buerhle was tremendous on the mound!
April 16, 200619 yr Oh, and his name is BUEHRLE, for all the people here who don't know how to spell it. B U E H R L E
April 16, 200619 yr HELL YEAH! EAT s***, BLUE JAYS! Kong, Gooch and Fuzzy rule! Unfortunately, I didn't catch ALL of the game. Dare I ask how Pods did today? Edited April 16, 200619 yr by TheBigHurt
April 16, 200619 yr Gooch created the opportunity for a great play, and came through. He could have completed the tumble, stood up and still made the throw. It looked like he had the out for a long ways. Still awesome to look at, and clearly the play of the game. It will make a lot of highlight reels.
