April 17, 200619 yr QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 08:52 PM) can you say ESPY? East coast bias means it's already preset as an auto-Jeter award? Edited April 17, 200619 yr by Princess Dye
April 17, 200619 yr Funny thing was he got Molina by 15 steps. I don't know what the hell he was doing comming up the line but in my baseball days dogging it to first would have been a fine. I think the guy that was playing the piano on his back fell off and he stopped to let him back on. Edited April 17, 200619 yr by My Dixie Normus

I think the guy that was playing the piano on his back fell off and he stopped to let him back on. Bengie wasn't dogging it, he's the slowest guy in baseball by far. Paul would absolutely blow him out in a race. Edited April 17, 200619 yr by Rowand44

I think they guy that was playing the piano on his back fell off and he stopped to let him back on. Molina is one of the slowest players in the MLB, thats why he was out by so much at first. Iguchi had plenty of time to get himself back up, tie his shoe, eat some lunch, then throw the ball to first.

He is usually at the top of the league in grounding into double plays because he is so slow.

April 17, 200619 yr QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 09:57 PM) East coast bias means it's already preset as an auto-Jeter award? Jeter went into the stands hard and came up bloody. I don't think you can take much away from that play but your point is well taken. The rest of MLB is just what happens between Boston and Yankee games for most of ESPN.
April 17, 200619 yr QUOTE(My Dixie Normus @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 10:08 PM) Jeter caught the ball, took three steps, then went into the stands hard and came up bloody. There, I took something away from that play.

April 17, 200619 yr O.K., the Iguchi throw is no longer on the page, anybody have it linked someplace? If you go to the video highlights, all you get are homeruns and Pods catching a ball while sliding.

It says "Iguchi's tremendous throw"
