Anyone know anything about this pitcher-minor league reliever, 24-but Sox press release does not say if he's right or left, and was on waivers from Colorado and is on 40 man roster for us

Maybe someone locally saw him at Kane County-his record says he was there

Looks like Bobby Jenks Part II...

Over/Under on how long before he takes Logan's job...

He won't.

Well it all depends on how long it takes him to learn how to throw with his left hand.

I worked for the Kane County Cougars when he was there, he dominated Single-A ball. I guess other organizations were scouting him, in fact I saw Jerry Krause there one day, and I'm guessing he was scouting for the Yankees.

I believe later that summer Sierra was traded from the Cougars to the Yankees for Chris Hammond if I'm not mistaken. Sierra has good stuff, and I'd love to see him make it big for the South Siders.

I can't wait to get another 99 MPH arm in the pen... Nice replacement for Hermy mid season...

There is an article on the FutureSox board about this, but he was part of the Chacon deal.

Here's a link to a story giving some details on what he throws and all that stuff.

He's about #15 on the list of replacements right now.

I thought Jim H would be all over this one. Oh yeah he got banned because a few kids got there panties in a bunch. Children carry on.

Makes sense, from Oakland to New York to Colorado for Chacon.

I'd love to see Sierra make it on the Sox roster.

Awww, isn't that sweet, you missed me :fight

Watch, they will add a few more guys like this. There is a reason why there's only 35 on the 40 man. I bet your boy Rogowski gets moved in a trade too.
