Mirabelli heading back to Boston?

Featured Replies

Word is that Doug Mirabelli is currently on a charter plane to Boston from San Francisco.  Apparently this one is all over Dennis and Callahan and Dale and Holley on WEEI.

No word yet on who the Red Sox would send over to get Tim Wakefield's personal catcher back.

UPDATE: The Red Sox are trying to get Mirabelli to Fenway by gametime tonight.

Not sure if true, but interesting. Bard has been pretty bad catching Wakefield.

Gammons talked about it during the Rangers/Indians game last night and on Baseball Tonight.

I don't think that this is a "scoop" by internetrumors.

Ya he is and its crazy cause Bard is getting traded..

So, basically, San Diego swapped Mark Loretta for Josh Bard?

Quite pathetic by San Diego, in my opinion.

And Cla Meredith and and cash or another player.

LOL, the Yankees and Red Sox got into a bidding war for a backup catcher.

San Diego is in debt.
