Can't hardly blame AJ if it offers more protection for as often as people seem to throw at his ass. I wouldn't blame him if he went up there with one of these...

it might only be AJ considering he's the guy that has too have a helmet on for longer than everyone else

I never really had a problem with batting helmets being too warm, considering you don't really wear them that long. Now a dark colored wool cap, in the outfield, on a sunny 90 degree day, when your pitchers are getting killed can be brutal.

I don't think it's the same style he wears behind the plate. It is better than the one he wore in SF
