I do belive that was the first series of the season and the Indians took the final 2 games of that series propelling the Indians and Tigers past the Sox. So if you were going to start this thread perhaps you could have done it a month ago and not looked like a total jackass. The Tigers being in 1st for a few hours means absolutely nothing, until the Sox play their game, nothing counts. All that matters is where yoiu are in the standing by the end of the day. Why don't you go draw a bath and this time maybe you can avoid drowning the people who live below you.

In the highly-unlikely even that the Tigers win 120 games this year and pull the biggest one-year turn-around in MLB history, we'll just have to tip our caps to them and hope for the Wild Card. But I don't see that happening. The Tigers remind me a lot of another AL Central team that went on an insane tear last season. I don't think they'll keep it up, either. May 21, 200619 yr Like I've said, to judge them fairly we will have to wait until at least after the AS break. If they continue to play good, then they are for real.
May 21, 200619 yr From first hand observation, we know Ordonez is worthless in the playoffs and pretty much any clutch games after September 1. Hopefully that continues. Kenny Rogers also can't win the BIG GAME. That said, the Tigers are so much from out of nowhere that you have to be a little scared.
