THOME!

Bulls*** call at 3rd.....0-2 count.

Thome fights back to square the count at 2. And now a full count, Verlander overthrew the last 2 pitches. Damn, now a hanger and Thome fouls it straight back.

DEEP, BACK, HISTORY!!! THOME MONSTER!!!

Thome doesn't look too good since he came back.

And yes, I can honestly say I was going for the reverse jinx!!!

He was always going to take a few days to get back into his groove, considering his age, body etc.

Lucky we've got JD smoking at the moment to pick up some of the slack.

THOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JIM f***ING THOME!!!!!!

Apropos

Has thome always swung this hard in his career?

How does he still have a back?

I laughed.

Contreras needs to go another inning. Give it to Cotts in the 8th and let Jenksy finish it off.

Thome homers and Stillman scores to go into the second intermission - it's been a good few minutes for me lol.

I love reverse jinxes!

All Jim needs is just a little patience.

No matter what happens the rest of the season you have to admit

Thome is a beast. Amazing.

Paulie swings at a breaking ball about 3 feet out of the zone, 2 outs.

Come on Scarface/MVP/JD!

I will consider it. He still sort of acted like a little b**** as he was falling apart saying he deserved to be the closer.

Well, sure, but at least he didn't leave like Howry. We'd all be frustrated if we went from lights-out to falling apart due to a disease that doctors are having trouble understanding. It's your list, surely, I'm just suggesting.

It's high time Thome starts earning his paycheck! :D

Ron Kulpa blows.

That knuckle curve on pitch 1 has been called a strike all night.

In a perfect world Dye and Thome's homers would have been 3 run bombs.

Scarface/MVP/JD gets ahead 3-0 for the 2nd time tonight....last time he went yard, and this time he walks.

AJ=due for a hit, and he hasn't looked too good thus far.

Once again JD gets on base.

In a perfect world they would have been grand slams.

I didn't know Mike Mussina was pitching.
