Well he did induce 3 ground balls there. I don't have the tv feed, so only going by gamecast =/

Even the rocket up the middle was on the ground. Hopefully this means his sinker is working.

Here's a tough question....do we root for the Yanks or Indians tonight? The Indians are always dangerous, but the Yanks could very well be in the wild card hunt.

It would be impressive if his sinker is working - and tonight, a must. It's hot as s*** down here. If the ball gets up, it will fly.

Anyone else watching the Rangers' feed on mlb.tv?

I would root for the Yankees. I want the Sox to win the division, and Cleveland losing as much as possible will help with that hope.

LMAO!

That's just priceless.

He sounds like someone's lost grandpa.

We need to win the division. So we root for Yanks.

If we don't win the division, I fear we won't get the wildcard.

And if we can't win the division, it's probably a dream to win it all again.

The way his son used to play the OF, he must have listened to him.

OH SHI-

Loe is on.

Gave in and bought the mlb.tv...yet again..

Loe has nice movement tonight...lets not wave at pitches all night.

Kameron's a mother* to hit if he's on.

Kameron is usually off, so we better hit him tonight.

Not gonna say too much, but the game is moving along decently so far.

Does it look like Garland's purposely throwing a few mph slower tonight? He seems to be trying to throw his sinker for more control.

Not really

Rangers broadcasters say that he is throwing slower tonight than usual.

Kameron's either ON, or he's OFF. Usually no in between.

I like that he is geting some ground balls.

I'm just not convinced enough about Cleveland's pitching to think they'll be able to even be close this year. They'll get a hot streak at some point, but it won't be enough. I'd say Cleveland.

Garland not looking too bad honestly...5 of 6 outs on groundballs.

That could be. He also threw 124 pitches last start, the most he's thrown since at least 2004. Maybe he's sore.

Garland.

Jon looking good, it almost looks like this is like a test game for him, really focusing on the sinker, seeing what he can do with it.

Every one of like the last 4 or 5 games you could have said was a test game after his start. And yet he kept giving up the long ball.
