There you go. One of Podsednik's best AB's of the year, vs. a tough pitcher too. 10 pitches there. Sox hitters need to do more of that. Got one run back there.

 

He can be so much more effective if he just learns to foul off tough pitches. My biggest complaint about him has always been that he takes too many called 3rd strikes. Both of his big hits this series have been on inside fastballs with 2 strikes. That's great to see.

thome was way late on that at bat. vasquez needs to shut them down 1-2-3. Right now.

Now Vazquez needs to get out there and have a 1-2-3 before Lee Harvey Oswalt gets too much of a breather.
