glad we got out of that w/ minimal damage...stupid play pods

On a positive note, the Pirates relievers are pretty bad. I know I'll get flack for this comment, but I think we are being a bit cocky out there. For example, there was absolutely no reason for Pods to steal 3rd base, he just though he could get away with it.

 

Let's hope they get their heads back on their shoulders here in the 7th

I'm not sure if I was clear enough, but I was simply pointing out that Iguchi struggles on pop ups over the 1st baseman's head.

You gotta admit, everytime you look at the scorebaord you see Detroit giving up very few runs. Their pitching staff is for real. It's very rare to see one of their starters give up 9 ERs in 6 innings.

Which is why they can't be considered a fluke right now. Their pitchers have been amazingly consistent.
